Hi friends, welcome to another episode of that sounds fun. It's one of my favorite shows of the year. This is your host Annie F. Downs

I'm so glad to be here with you today. The music in the background is from our good buddy Mr. Drew Holcomb his new album dragons just came out this fall. It's so good and we're getting ready to switch over to Christmas music.

I want to make sure you're enjoying that dragons album on your own a lot. It is really really good. So today on the show we've done this a couple of years in a row getting ready for the Christmas season getting ready for advent.

The gals from she reached truth came to the office and sat down and we got to talking about some real stuff today. I think you're really going to enjoy it. So we're going to talk about advent and our lives and get ready to celebrate the holiday season. So here is Amanda Bible Williams and Rachel Myers from She Beach Truth.

I'm Amanda Bible Williams. Hello and the other voice Rachel Myers. It's a decent voice. It's not the best voice. It's our fan fiction voice. So Amanda will you talk about that for a second about Toby your son and Russ's son were in the same.

They were in the foster home group foster home and Beijing and it's a foster home for kids with congenital heart effects. And so they grew up in Rebecca Lyons daughter joy as well. Also and so the three those three kind of the three amigos three

Musketeers, whatever you want to call them. The three BFFs. They were the three oldest kids for a couple of years in the foster home of a dozen kids total like there was there was always a maximum of about 12 kids.

And so they were just all really close and then Toby was our our our sent Toby was the first to be adopted in that crew and then and then joy lions and then the O'Ranzi.

Yeah. And now they all live in Nashville like in the same part. You all in the same. Yeah. So and they all in our front. You know, we're all friends and we can get them together and let them play.

I know you put this on Instagram. But will you talk about when the first time Theo came in saw Toby at the hospital because you're sent to be since we recorded that

Advent show last year has been in the hospital almost a four year he was yes he was in the hospital. There's a couple week shy of a year.

And and so Theo came to visit him for the first time since China at the hospital. So they hadn't seen each other in over a year.

And because Toby came home July of 18 and so they saw each other in let's see it would have been like late August early September of 19

and it was just so sweet because so much had changed so Theo grew a lot like he that age you know from from four to five or four whatever he was when we saw him last.

He had just gotten a lot taller and like he just a lot lot of his baby days you know it was so sweet. And Toby had changed a lot because he now had

many medical issues that he didn't have and medical accessories that he didn't have. And so we didn't know.

It's confusing thing to come to America and then see each other.

Right. I mean, how do you even communicate that like by the way, Theo's coming. I know this doesn't make any sense. Yeah, I mean, we just kind of tried to ramp up for a very long time.

Yeah. And we do have the benefit of the internet. So like being able to watch each other stories on they keep up with each other on Instagram.

Yeah, they really did. I mean, they we would send they really did and we would send. I mean, I joke that I'm Toby social media manager in a way. My Instagram is no longer my own. No.

But but yes, they would keep up with with each other. And so they, you know, it's in photos of one another, you know, recently. So this wasn't and we occasionally send a video. But so

Meredith who was essentially their foster mom in China slash my roommate when she's in America. I mean, I can't even talk about.
