Hi everyone, welcome to Add Home with Sally. I'm Sally Clarkson and I have the biggest

privilege in the world to be with so many friends from all over the world who join me every

week to listen to my stories, inspiration, biblical encouragement and I am just so glad

that you're here today. Thanks so much for joining me.

Hi my friends, it's Sally Clarkson and I'm so glad you joined me today at Home with

Sally and friends and we are coming to the very end of the mission of motherhood and I have

so enjoyed going through this book because as many of you know when I started out the book and

the reason I even did it this year this summer is because as I look at the landscape of culture as

I meet with adults as I see the character in the lack of integrity and lack of character and lack

of virtue in most leadership and many facets of our lives today from government to business to

churches I really really really believe that there was a whole generation of children who were

neglected and who were not trained who were not given stories who were not protected from media who

were just left to the culture and in the same way as I said many times before if you just

threw seeds into the wind and expected it to become a garden you would be very sorely disappointed

and as we come to the last chapter it's called the faithful the faithful mother and I just want to

address a few things because I know how hard it is to do this irrational thing in our generation

called motherhood to put aside some of your own desires and maybe your own profession or maybe

whatever it is to be mothering alone on the part of most mothers because they don't live near

their parents or perhaps they came from a broken background there are very few women to connect with

and mothering is 24-7 for all moms and those of you who have moms who live nearby who support you

that is just a gift and joy them because that's how life was supposed to be but as we go into

this last chapter I want you to know what faithfulness feels like looks like and why it matters so much
