Summary

In the early morning hours following the 4th of July celebrations in Moorpark, CA a security guard spots what he assumed was a drunk driving incident. But when he approached the accident he realized something more sinister had occurred at the intersection between Highway 23 and Los Angeles Avenue. The investigation that would follow would reveal the depth to which humanity could reach.

0:52.0	At around 4 a.m. on July 5, 2001, a security guard for a nearby building noticed that a car had crashed
1:02.1	into the median at the end of the off-ramp that brought drivers
1:06.3	from Highway 23 to Los Angeles Avenue in Moore Park, California. Moore Park is located close to the area of Simi Valley in Ventura County,
1:18.0	which is located about a 30 miles north from Malibu and about a 35-30 miles north from Malibu and about a 35-40-minute drive north from Los Angeles.
1:29.1	It was the night of the 4th of July, and the security guard assumed that someone had gotten behind the wheel after a bit too much to drink and crashed their vehicle.
1:38.0	It looked like there was no one inside.
1:41.0	He thought that to escape a DUI maybe the driver left the scene. Not good, but unfortunately not uncommon after a summer holiday.
1:53.2	To get more information before he called the police, the security guard approached the vehicle
1:58.4	that was at the bottom of the long and winding off-ramp.
2:03.2	It was then that he noticed that the scene was not what he thought it was.
2:08.2	The green rental sunfire had been left running. The windshield wipers were on and the driver's door was
2:16.8	left open. But what was most troubling was the fact that the vehicle was riddled with bullet holes with bullet holes.
