Summary

Dr. Christopher Duntsch began working at Baylor Plano hospital in Dallas Texas in 2011, however over the next few years he would be bounced from hospital to hospital after he was responsible for maiming and killing the majority of his patients. Despite doctors, patients, families, and lawyers making complaints about him to the Texas State Medical Board, nothing was done and for years and he was allowed to continue ruining people's lives.

1:07.1	myself with the amount of notes I have. So strap in because I'm about to say a lot of things. This is one of those stories that is really scary.
1:18.0	And most of the stories we talk about are scary, right? But this one has an extra little spice to it because it takes place at the doctor.
1:25.4	A place where you're famously supposed to get help and feel safe.
1:30.4	It's also messed up because so many people already have medical anxiety, like going to the doctor can be scary for a lot of people, but in the back of your mind, even if you feel anxious, you know that this doctor is there to help you, or at least that should be how it feels.
1:45.6	But in this scenario, these people felt really good about this doctor and going to see him and went there in pain, wanting to be fixed and he told them he could fix them
1:55.8	and then he altered their lives forever in the worst possible way or ended their lives.
2:02.1	It's horrifying and so tragic.
2:05.0	This one also hits a little closer to home than I would like for me personally
2:09.0	because the people who were going to him were experiencing back pain and wanted to get that pain fixed.
2:16.0	And I personally have back problems and have gone to the doctor to figure it out and whatever.

2:24.8	with chronic pain or I was going to get a really in my opinion scary surgery and yes
2:30.2	that would help but you know surgery is scary so I can only imagine these people going to this
