Summary

Ken Ramos entered the army in 1989 and with at least 29 years of service; almost the last two decades in Special Operations. He is considered being one of the leading experts in Social Media Exploitation and Multimedia employment within the Psychological Operations Regiment. He has deployed multiple times in support of OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM and OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM-AFRICA to missions in Somalia, Kenya, Ethiopia, and Djibouti, where his team debuted the first Department Of State “Rewards for Justice” Program on the continent. He has subsequently served as the Joint Military Information Support Command NCOIC for the Regional Magazine Initiative supporting over six combatant commands and 6 SOF components within USSOCOM, later transitioning to messaging and digital outreach to Commander, USSOCOM’s Global SOF Network. He was later responsible for establishing the first set of social media exploitation TTPs in the Psychological Operations Regiment used during OPERATION INHERENT RESOLVE He completed his career, attached to the Psychological Operations Commandant’s Office, at the John F Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School, assisting in establishing the ARSOF recruiting engagement campaign with Headquarters, USASOC.
