Summary

We're joined by Germana Belo, co-writer of the award-winning, *very* sexy and sapphic web series RED, as well as a brand new series that she and Nicole wrote TOGETHER! Growing up in Brazil in the 1980s, Germana feared that the feelings she had for women (especially Brooke Shields...) were a sin, or even a curse. She talks about falling in love with her first therapist at the age of eighteen (classic!), and shares how to this day she often feels like she is "too gay to be bi, and not gay enough to be a lesbian" (also classic, sadly). Plus, we do an in-depth examination of queer storytelling, and Nicole and Germana share some *scintillating* details about their upcoming web series, As Love Goes!

0:55.9	went out last week and so we had to reschedule today. So anyway, we're so happy to have you.
1:02.0	And as y'all heard me talk about probably now a couple weeks ago on the pod and you've probably
1:07.6	seen any post about on social media, Germana and I have a show that we wrote as love goes.
1:15.0	And we're currently crowdfunding and we are so excited to bring you this series.

1:26.9	Germana wrote a little series y'all may have heard of called Red, which has a banana's number of millions of views over, I believe it's 145 countries.
1:40.0	It is in its sixth season, and it's available online via subscription. And it is a beautiful show that follows this lesbian couple who are gorgeous and the actors are fantastic. It's directed beautifully. It's very artsy.
