Getting all the moving pieces together for the explosion of piracy,

around about 1692 in the Indian Ocean and the Red Sea is, well, there are a lot of moving pieces

and the deeper into it I get the more and more pieces I seem to find.

However, we are getting there, and today we've got a relatively easy task in front of us.

Instead of introducing an entirely new character from scratch, we get to talk about someone we know already.
