I'm How did I not see this coming?

Hello and welcome back to another episode of the Year of Polygamy podcast. I'm your host, Lindsay,

and I'm coming to you from Salt Lake City, Utah, in the middle of a pandemic. So I'm going to give a little

preamble before we get started, but if you're listening to this, you're

probably impacted in some way by the coronavirus. Such an interesting time and an interesting

experience to be part of right now. And so I'm going to be podcasting a few episodes. This

episode was recorded before the outbreak sort of reached

the situation that we are in now. And so I apologize for the heaviness of the content. I am hoping

that if we stay self-isolated in the next few weeks, that I'll be able to have some time and

energy to put out more for you.

But since many of you have followed me along this journey, I just want to tell you that

I love you, you're in my thoughts and prayers, I hope you're safe, I hope you're well,

and I hope that your heart isn't troubled too much. I offer you a blessing of generosity and spirit and kindness and that you won't

be affected by scarcity or fear or any suffering right now. And I would just also extend an

invitation to listeners everywhere that if you are within your power to do so, be generous to your

community right now. If you are an employer, find a way to let

your employees work from home if possible. And if you can't afford to, especially a lot of my listeners,

are people with families and with children, find a way to help other families with children if the

parents have to work. If we can all in a very Mormon way put

our shoulders to the wheel here, even if you're not Mormon, this is sort of the best parts of our

community. We'd rally together when there's a major crisis or disaster. So I hope everyone out

there is listening as well and are taking the precautions seriously,
