It's been a long time since we covered a Song of Ice and Fire here on the NataCast. I've been covering Star Wars and Lord of the Rings episodes for a while. And as I will mention at length towards the end of this episode, I'm going to be continuing with those on a somewhat different basis. But the main thing that we are here to do today is welcome the new co-host of the Nauticast podcast. Everyone roll your drums and throw your roses

everyone. I'm Manu, also known as Manuqleur bomb. You may remember me from such Nodcast episodes as Brand 4 from a Game

of Thrones and Brand 7 from a Clash of Kings, the third Ionink. And if you also remember

that episode, I basically made the same exact joke then. You may also recall that I was doing

a Metal Gear Solid podcast, Podcasts Ons Frontieres, and I actually came on to the Nauticast to talk to it,

talk about it with Emmett back then. Also, since then, I've started a Lord of the Rings podcast.

It's called My Brother, My Captain, my podcast, and our Patreon just went live as of day of the recording.

It's been going great, and we're setting up a great community to discuss

our Lord of the Rings episodes, the Rings of Power, and I'm sure there'll be some hot D talk in there

as well. I've been doing that with my wonderful co-host, Emily, and we have just been kind of going

all unhinged on the films and the books that inspired them.
