your girl, Sydney. Happy end of March. Happy spring officially. Happy last day of 2000s month.

Sad. Sadness. It's okay. We're going to do more more eventually i'll never stop talking about 2000s movies

but we're ending the month with what i think is a very underrated movie but a very well-loved

movie in the horror community because when you bring it up i feel like everybody loves this movie

and obviously we're talking about the skeleton key today and i i fucking loved this movie. I had not watched it.

I had watched it once, literally around the time it first came out. It came out in 2005.

I watched it probably in like 2006 or seven. And then I did not watch it again until last year.

Actually, I rewatched it last year and I had like totally forgotten everything about it. I forgot the

twist. I forgot everything. So it's like I was watching it for the first time and I was just

fucking gobsmacked. I was like, holy shit. How could I have ever possibly forgotten this movie?

And I love it so much. I love everything about it. I love the vibe because it takes place in New Orleans and this old plantation looking house surrounded by the swamp. It's just this eerie vibe. I love the plot twist. I love the buildup. I love that you literally have no fucking idea what's going on until the very end and then it makes so much sense. I love everything about this movie.

And I know you guys aren't going to be shocked because it's a 2000s movie. But the critics are

fucking haters as usual because this movie has a 6.5 on IMDB, which is not terrible. And a 38% on

Rotten Tomatoes, which is considered rotten. So like, to those people, tomato, tomato, tomato,

at you, bitch, just tell me you don't fucking enjoy fun. Like, what do you mean? 38%. Come on. This is one,

like a lot of other 2000s movies, I can be like, okay, I get why these have bad ratings. This is

one I genuinely think is a good movie. Like outside of it being a 2000s movie,

I genuinely see it as being a good movie. Like there's no like corny effects in this one. You know,

like there are in a lot of these movies. I just don't understand the hate, I guess. And I take it

personally, clearly. But with that, let's just jump straight into the skeleton key. So like I said, it came out in
