0:16.3	What's up? Thanks for having me.
0:17.6	Jared, I'm so glad you're here. We literally just met 10 minutes ago. So as the listeners are getting to know you, so am I. Would you just share a little bit about how you came to know the Lord and what you're up to these days?
0:30.1	Yeah, happy to. So I grew up in an awesome Christian family. Like many people that may have my same story, made a profession at a young age,
0:40.9	but didn't really probably fully believe or appreciate what I was professing. And so at age
0:46.1	17, at a D now, I think we call it D-Town at Watermark, came to the Lord and just been on a slow but steady sanctification process since then,
0:57.8	which a lot of that has come through my beautiful and lovely wife, Ryan, who is 30 weeks
1:03.3	pregnant expecting a little girl.
1:05.6	Oh, girl dad.
1:07.4	Girl dad, yeah.
1:08.4	So a little anxious about that, but, you know, due date is Halloween, so have a couple more months to prepare.
1:16.4	But yeah, very excited about that. We've been at Watermark for five years, and I'm biased, but probably one of the best community groups at Watermark. We love our group.
1:26.0	And so, yeah, it's just been running after the
1:27.6	Lord. And I serve in Financial Catalyst, which is a part of the community development corporation.
1:34.0	It's a savings and kind of financial habits program that we do in South Dallas. It's been
1:40.2	awesome. Which is cool, because you work in corporate America. I am in corporate America. That's right up your alley. Exactly. Finance stuff. It's over my head, but that's awesome.
1:47.7	That's over mine sometimes. I love it. Well, today we're in Luke 12, and I'm just going to let you take it away.
1:53.5	You got the mic. Where's the Lord leading you? What do you want to share? Yeah, happy to. So as I read Luke 12, candidly, I chose this because there was so much in it that I was
2:03.5	like, I will have no shortage of stuff to write about, which was great. And I think one of the areas
2:10.3	that Jesus really leans into in Luke 12 is this have no fear. And what I love is he starts with
2:16.6	like one of the ultimate like one-ups.
