| 0:45.5 | society. Franklin had such an extraordinary love for life, such a deep work ethic, |
| 0:51.4 | and such a cheerful willingness to go out and turn ideas into projects and |
| 0:56.7 | projects into achievements that there's almost nobody like him. There are lots |
| 1:01.5 | of other people who've done great things, but almost nobody has covered the |
| 1:04.8 | range from business to politics to diplomacy to science to invention to social |
| 1:11.0 | leadership that Franklin personified. And so I think he's well worth spending |
| 1:15.8 | some time, and he clearly is by any standard and immortal. |

| 1:44.5 | the moral strength in which America was created and really was the father of our |
| 1:50.2 | country, but of all the other founding fathers except Washington, the one who |
