I'm not even going to take offense at the pretty lovely because our new patrons, or at least one of our new patrons, would agree with you, as evidenced by a comment on our Patreon page where the person tuned in to my podcast

and didn't particularly care for it.

And his only comment was something, that was rough.

So I'll take it. I'll take that as a criticism. That's a constructive criticism. I don't know what to do with it, but I'll figure it out. Yeah, look, look, I only use the modifier pretty because we're not in season yet. Once we're in, I mean, I don't remember what I said last week, but it was probably too many lovelies.

I need to just be realistic here. Yeah. Yeah, we need to start slow. By the way, I don't know why

anybody wouldn't want to listen to a solo podcast in which the person takes 30 seconds to yell

at cicadas to ask them to quiet down.

You know, I thought that that was just good content, but apparently not everybody loved it.
