debate it was different it was different it was different it was different different. It was, you go into these sorts of things and you expect one thing.

I wasn't, look you expect something you expect something of course and I did not expect a stellar performance from Joe Biden, but I expected more than we got. A lot more than we got.

I was asked to write a quick reaction piece for the Hill newspaper and I did and the way that these things worked it was published I don't know two minutes after the debate ended it was published and you go geez you must be the

fastest tipper in the world we get 700 words out inside of 30 seconds well you

don't do that at least I don't do that. At least I don't do that.

I wrote up sort of a choose your own adventure kind of thing.

So I had like a thousand words ready to go.

Some were bold, some were italics,

depending on which way they went on certain issues. I could go up and go,

okay this is more closer to what I want I'll delete the other and then I'll just change

There as in real time as the thing unfolds so that by the end of the debate

you've got something ready to go and you've submitted it halfway through so you

know like okay copy edit this this is sort of how it's shaping up, so we're ready to go,

because you want to, part of the key to getting a lot of clicks

is being first.
