week to listen to my stories, inspiration, biblical encouragement, and I am just so glad

Hi everyone, greetings from my Colorado Mountain Home. I live as many of you know, 7200 feet

high above sea level and oh my goodness, it's so beautiful today. Even when it's 75 to 80

degrees here, there's a little breeze blowing through and I'm sitting in my living room looking

at at my husband. So I'm in a pretty good mood today. I wanted to tell you that in the next

few weeks this summer, I've been praying a lot about what I should podcast about and as I've

looked back, both being in the United Kingdom and speaking in different places, meeting

women in London and in Oxford and Edinburgh and in Coventry and in Scotland, different places

and just talking with women and then getting letters here and getting letters from women

all over the world and then looking back at my own life, I realized that I feel like

a lot of people probably wonder why many times I can find myself to the whole subject of

motherhood. But I think that no matter who's listening today, the kids might really be encouraged

by this because they will kind of see what God had in mind and whether you're single, whether

you're married, whether you're grandma, I think that as I look in my own life at almost 65 years

old as I enjoy my children as my best friends, I spent two hours talking with them on the phone

yesterday afternoon as I do most Sunday afternoons and then I'll talk to another one on Monday

for an hour and a half or you know, I'm just constantly still in that best friend and also

mentoring relationship with my children and it's so fulfilling to me because not only have

they grown into the kind of adults with whom I would have wanted to have a friendship, but
