What's going on, everybody?

This is the Talking Chop podcast, a podcast devoted solely to covering the Atlanta Braves baseball club.

I am not Brad Rowland, your regular host.

You may recognize me, Eric Cole, over from The Road to Atlanta podcast, or I've made appearances on this very podcast, or just on various other forms of media.

Brad is out of town.

I believe he's in Vegas doing baseball stuff, basketball stuff covering Summer League.

And so he asked me to take over the main hosting duties, but I couldn't have done this

show without my good buddy.

And guy I don't get to talk to a whole lot, at least in terms of Berkeley, is one Scott

Coleman.

How are you been, buddy?

I'm good, man.

It was, we're recording this.

For those who those don't know, we're recording this about 10 minutes after Sunday's game

wrapped up.

So you can imagine it was a little stressful as we were sitting here ready to record.

But yeah, that was, you know, it's kind of a reflection of the first half, though, right? I mean, it wasn't necessarily the prettiest thing in the world, and it made our hearts rate, and like you said, you need a drink.

But at the end of the day, the Braves won, and now they get to go into a much-needed break for the next four or five days and kind of recover a little bit.

Yeah, and it was, it was just hysterical kind of how it went. The Braves were in control for literally the first seven innings.

Then basically a fastball that doesn't get in quite enough results in a three-run homer

to make it a one-run game.

And then a confluence of events in the ninth inning results in the bases loaded, being
