You didn't. But you are in Watermark's high school ministry, Shoreline. Yes. And tonight, small groups are kicking off or they started last week. They're starting this week. They're starting this week. So if you're hearing this podcast on August 31st, 2022, the day it comes out, you can pray for all of our high school

students. Maril, what's one thing that Watermark members, whether they're younger than you or

older than you, could pray for our students this school year?

Pray that they will have just like the courage to come to a small group even if it's their first time and just to be authentic and to not fear the other teenagers in their group super good maryl you are a senior at richardson high what is a day in the life for you um so i actually don't my schedule yet so like we're still figuring it out but i wake up i go to school i go to all my don't have my schedule yet. So we're still figuring it out. But I wake up, I go to school, I go to all my classes. I have my art.

It's good. I'm glad you don't skip. Me too. Yeah, it's kind of hard. It's very long days. But I have art every day, which is just a nice resting time because it's super consistent. And then I will hopefully have early release every day.

Nice. Yes. Art class and early release. What more could a senior want? Exactly. I didn't get,

I didn't get early release when I was a senior. So I'm jealous. When did you start following Jesus,

Meryl? I started following Jesus when I was around six years old, but I had a pretty and unstable childhood.

My parents were separated from most of it, so I didn't take my relationship with Christ seriously until high school because I almost blamed him for the inconsistency in my childhood.

And I saw him as an inconsistent God and didn't realize his consistency until high school.
