Deputies responded Monday evening to a trespass report on a property south of Norwood,

where a group of eight to 12 people from the quote, Black Hammer organization,

were camping prior to a property purchase that ultimately did not occur.

When deputies arrived, they advised the group of the trespass and they left the area without incident.

Deputies found some individuals were legally armed and posing no threat to public safety.

There have been no reports that the group has since been seen in the area.

The Black Hammer organization states on its website that it,

quote, is a revolutionary mass organization dedicated toward building a sustainable future

for all colonized people worldwide. End quote.

So what is to say, I mean, that is all to say that Black Hammer never bought the land.

The land deal did not go through and they left peacefully when the San Miguel County Sheriff

sent a single deputy up there to inform of that.

It's really unclear, but it was, I mean, the pictures they posted, they're all like a really

heavily mountainous area. I mean, I'm sure someone could like figure it out or, you know,

geo-locate it or whatever. We can call our sponsors a belling cat to do that after this.

Yes, but it's super unclear. I mean, they didn't spend a single dime on this apparently because

they didn't actually purchase the land. And so that was a big, I would say, what's the sort of

youthful parlance for this? A big L for the organization. Hammer City was destroyed by a

single sheriff's deputy, also breaking the pledge of no cops.
