Summary

Dale Luffman is the Ecumenical and Interfaith Officer for the Community of Christ. Community of Christ shares its first 14 years with the modern day LDS church and officially became a separate religion in 1860. Dale walks us through the history of the church, and how its history has impact Community of Christ's entirely separate Doctrine and Covenants.

1:08.2	I served in the Council of Twelve Apostles for the Community of Christ for almost 20 years and have been involved in a variety of ministries throughout the world
1:15.6	on behalf of Community of Christ over a career of over 40 years in ministry.
1:20.6	My interest has been toward academic things from time to time. I have my doctorate from Pittsburgh
1:30.9	Theological Seminary in Ministry and theology and have taught in our community of Christ Seminary
1:38.5	and continue to teach as an adjunct professor there. I have a significant interest in the Doctrine of Covenants and the Book of Mormon.
1:50.0	I have a text that I wrote on the Doctrine of Covenant, on the Book of Mormon that was published in 2013.
