For over 350 years, the state of South Carolina has been the setting for some of the most horrendous crimes ever committed.

Some have gained global notoriety.

Some have been forgotten, and others have been swept under the rug completely.

Now, two South Carolina natives and true crime enthusiasts

have teamed up to examine these heinous acts in detail,

giving their perspective of the evil that has resided in the Palmetto state.

but first of all welcome and thank you so much for joining us here I'm one of your

host Matt hires along with Danielle Myers and we're over moon thrilled

to bring you this episode today and to have you with us we were talking last

week we've been churning out some pretty heavy episodes deaths of teens deaths of kids and parents yeah and

things that are just extremely more unpleasant than normal.

I guess is a good way to put it, but we always like to go back in time,

do a little palette cleansing once in a while and this is a wild one. Of course, you know,

there's that pirate theme to start off the episode and that's exactly what we're going to do

the when you talk about a parent murdering or I'm sorry a child murdering their parent

there's so many so much to unpack there so many things that could have happened and

one person even brought up interacting on social media they said well the way

that the mother was found coupled with how they found the son hiding they even up, and we hate to bring up bad things the

victim may have done, but they said there may have been some kind of sexual
