Hi everyone, welcome to Add Home with Sally. I'm Sally Clarkson and I have the biggest

privilege in the world to be with so many friends from all over the world who join me every

week to listen to my stories, inspiration, biblical encouragement and I am just so glad

that you're here today. Thanks so much for joining me.

Hi everyone, it's Sally Clarkson and I'm so excited to be able to be with you today. I'm

sitting in my home and it's gotten to 87 degrees today so we're moving in the direction of

summer and I'm just loving being home in the beautiful Colorado Mountains. It's the best

time of the year and as we approach summer I thought I would talk to you a little bit today about

why it's so important for women to have heroes and for moms to fill their minds with heroes and I

think that as I look at my own life, one of my children said today, mom I think you're in

purgatory and they weren't just talking from a Catholic sense they were talking from the

universal word of purgatory because I'm in a process of finding out that my eye damage is permanent

and my vision is limited and so I can't drive and I can't leave home but there's a chance at the

end of this healing in the next two or three weeks that they might come up with a hard contact

that would kind of replace my cornea so maybe I can see and my daughter said you're just in limbo

and I was thinking about what I wanted to do to try to keep myself out of limbo and into the world.

So I've been putting together a plan for myself and a part of that plan is listening to great stories

while I was watching the dishes today. I can see partially with one eye it wasn't my best eye but

it's a good eye it's still healthy and so I can do most things I can cook and wash dishes and all

that but I was listening to a murder mystery just a fun little it's a tea it's a tea time mystery and

I have a couple other books I'm thinking about and I'll tell you about those in just a few minutes

but I'm really excited today to introduce you to one of my sweet friends it's Misty Krasoski hi Misty
