Summary

Have you ever wondered whether something that happened to you was a "sign" that you should make a particular choice? Well, you're not alone. Our Tudor friends wondered this too, and made up lots of reasons why events like lightning and earthquakes happened. Let's discuss. Show notes will be up soon at englandacst.com/signs

0:28.2

being more deeply in touch with our own humanity. This is episode 171, and it's about signs. No, not street signs or mile markers, but the kind of signs that

United States.

1:38.1

And the first couple of episodes this year are from our period and even a little bit

1:44.0

before the Viking Age and stuff. But the

1:46.2

Age of Exploration, Columbus, the Treaty of Tortoceas, all of that stuff would have been very

1:53.1

familiar to our tutor friends. They would have been following it. There's an episode on

1:58.1

England exploring the continent, John Cabot, and then he actually

2:03.1

graciously shared part of my episode on the Sebastian Cabot map that we did a couple of weeks

2:08.2

2:08.9
