You know folks, we find ourselves here in the waning days of summertime.

My kids are already starting to get antsy that school's going to start

again here soon and when I say start I mean you know online school or whatever but

they'll have to go back to sitting there doing schoolwork all day long instead of

going to the beach and all that sort of thing.

It's been a good little break here, good little summer.

I don't know what you've been keeping yourself busy with, but I've been getting kind of obsessed with fishing lately.

I started, you know, I was like fishing off the shore, catching little perch,

and then I got a bigger rod and reel

and I started catching some weird stuff a little further out

and then I just got a fishing kayak

and I've been going out to the kelp beds and fishing stuff.

So part of that is, you know, I spent a lot of time on my computer looking up like, you know,

how to fish for calico bass out at the kelp beds and things like that.
