Hey friends, I hope you're hunkered down and staying safe and riding out this pandemic the best way that you can.

I left the house on March 13th to go see my buddy Gordon Bonham play some blues

here in Indianapolis. I came home that night and I've only left the house twice since then.

I've been hunkered down trying to be a good citizen. The first time I left, I had to drive to

Nashville on an emergency

because my dear friend, Phil Kaufman, the Road Mangler Deluxe, had himself a heart attack

and was in the hospital. So Amy and I went down there for that and we came back home.

Stayed home for a couple months and then had another emergency where I had to go

see Mangler once again I drove five hours to Nashville got out of the car sat on

a lawn chair and Mangler's front yard with mask on talking to each other for 90

minutes I walked out got in the car drove five hours back to

Indianapolis but that's really it I haven't left the house since since then or

other than that other than to walk around the neighborhood and get some exercise

you know the people who play music for a living like myself, you know, were the first ones to stop working and we're going to be the last ones to go back.

And I'm not going to lie, it has not been easy at all riding out this pandemic.

I'm trying to be on the right side of it. And I realize if I take

it serious, maybe a few other people will also. Hopefully you guys are taking it serious and you'll

get to have some live music come to your town sometime soon. A quick update about this show. All the interviews that I do,

I do face to face. It's a personal rule where I won't do anything over the phone or whatever.

I want to be in the room sharing with people and I think it's much better that way. So it's impossible

right now for me to be in a room with people. And so the show has become rather difficult to do.

I'm going to make myself do a few more shows where I fly solo coming up and it will continue on.
