Hello to all of our friends in podcast land. I feel like I should come out with something new

and wonderful every week because we want to greet you in a different way because we want

to be fresh in our hearts. And Clay and I have really loved and been so encouraged by all

of the letters and emails and comments that we've gotten about our books so far. It came out

three weeks ago and I know that a lot of you are already reading it and you've been enjoying

the podcast and that really means so much to us because what we really hope is that we will

give you some direction in how to go forward in your path of life parenting, so to speak,

which is what we're doing today. So today after doing the first six principles or heartbeats

of parenting, we're going to end up with the last two. And these are some very crucial elements

of training and loving and preparing your children as parents. So I'm excited about

Clay being able to share what was on his heart when he approached these chapters. Hi Clay.

Hey, good to be with you all. Let me just review where we've been and leading up to these

final two. We've been looking at eight heartbeats of parental life giving that I talk about in the book.

The first two that we looked at were numbering your child's days and nurturing your child's spirit.

The next two were guarding your child's heart and renewing your child's mind.

And then we did strengthening your child's faith and shaping your child's will.

And today we're going to look at the last two chapters which are cultivating your child's
