Thank you, Lord. Would you join me as we pray, Lord? We thank you, Lord. Thank you for all that we,

all that we have and all that you made us to be, Lord. We're not perfect, Lord, but we are here to hear from you in your

word, to receive from your living word, that we would be transformed from the inside out, Lord.

For a time like this, where you are coming soon and the world is crazy Lord we need your Holy Spirit to empower us Lord to live out these times for your glory for your will in our lives Lord we pray that you would bless and fill Pastor J.D. with that courage

and that bravery, Lord, to preach your word, unashamed. We thank you, Lord, for this time. We ask these things

in your name. we pray. Jesus.

Amen and good morning and welcome. You can be seated. So glad you came and those of you

online we're so glad that you're joining with us. Before we jump in, I want to let you know that

this is more for the local church, not the online church, but we're going to have our prayer

meeting this Tuesday 7 p.m. here in the sanctuary. That's Tuesday, June 2nd. I really encourage

you to come join with us for our prayer meeting. I know that you know this by now, but for the benefit of those who may not,

this is the first of two Sunday morning services that we devote to Bible prophecy by way of these Bible prophecy updates weekly.

And then second service, which again locally and or the J.D.frog.org website or the many

other platforms and apps, 1045 the worship starts and then 1115-ish heavy on the is when the teaching

will start and the live stream will start.

But second service is the sermon. It's a verse by verse teaching through the Bible and we're

currently in the Gospel of Mark. We're going to pick it up where we left off in chapter 3 beginning in verse 13 through

verse 19. And I chose to title the sermon this, Why the Lord may choose to choose to use someone like me, emphasis at it. You too. And here's why. What we're going to see in this

passage is Jesus appointing 12 disciples and they're the last ones you'd think he'd choose,

which shows us why the Lord may choose us to use us when we're the last ones you'd think he'd choose.

So really looking forward to the passage we have before a second service.
