number 166 of your favorite podcast walking the floor now you may have noticed that I'm a little late getting this one up.

I originally had it set up to be released a week and a half ago or so, but with all the unrest going on in the world

I don't know it just didn't feel right so I took it down between the protests and

the looting and the police violence.

I know everybody's feeling a mix of emotions out there

and some people, maybe a majority of people,

wish that musicians like me would just shut the F up

and stick to the music. But know that Amy I got to talk

about what's going on in the world so as much as I don't like seeing neighborhoods

I frequent get looted and torn apart personally my instinct is to be on the side of the protesters

and I think there's an important distinction to be made in most cases between

protesters and rioters but even with the rioters, I'm not going to wag my finger in people's faces

about destruction of property and whatnot in situations like these.

I just try to put myself in other people's shoes.

But honestly, like I can't really imagine what it would be like

to live in a neighborhood where militarized domestic police
