The Ultimate Midlife Crisis. I'm Steve Adams on Mighty Blue and I'm hiking the Appalachian Trail in 2019.

This week has been all about the heat, humidity and some rain.

We've had to accept that our 20-odd-mile days are currently a thing in the past.

This is so sapping this humidity.

And especially for a big guy like Trigger and me,

we are really getting soaked at the end of every day. It's kind of

unpleasant actually. But we've had to accept that those things, a thing of the past, those 20-mile

days are a thing of the past. We're still well on schedule to finish in the last week of August,

and those longer mileage days that we did have allowed that.

But going forward, we think that 15 miles are going to be a good day.
