Hello and welcome back to another episode of the Year of Polygamy podcast.

And today I'm bringing back an old friend who has been on the podcast

several times, Joe Geisner. Joe, can you say hello? Hi, Lindsay. How are you this evening?

I am doing well. We talked about you living over there in California and Brandon Zion. How is,

how is Branen Zion going? Oh, I love it.

I love the flowers being all in bloom right now.

Fog comes in every morning and waters everything.

Life is heaven.

So Joe's been on a few times, but this is the podcast episode that people request the most.

They want us to talk about the Martin Willie Handcart companies.

And you and I've been kicking around this idea for a while.

But even when you've been on, you've referenced it before,

but we've never really specifically talked about it. Yes, we have. We've actually

touched upon it, at least the borders of it. I think in the reformation, Utah War

Reformation episodes, I think we touched upon it. Yeah, so we're going to do that today,

but before we get into the Handcart story, why don't you tell us a little bit about yourself

for those who are new or tuning in or who are not going in order on the podcast like they're

supposed to? I became fascinated and interested in Mormon history.

Actually, as a teenager, but I really started studying it when I was in my 20s and started reading Sunstone Dialogue.
