I'm feeling really cozy here in my recording room surrounded by blankets and

pillows. By the time this episode comes out it's going to be full on fall. It'll be

just the end of September and where we live that means the leaves are changing I know that's true for a lot of other folks out there and it's such a beautiful time of year I can picture it now. I love the fall. Pumpkin spice lattes. Come on. Oh, so I'm basic. I'm sorry.

Okay, today we're going to talk about wool because it does evoke that cozy, wintry, warm vibe and it's perfect for those

hand-made garments when the weather starts to get cooler. We're up here in Canada, so we're heading

into fall winter and we're dreaming about sewing

and knitting with all the wool things. Oh my gosh are we ever but wool is not just

for winter we need to mention that lighter weight fine softer wool can absolutely be worn in the summertime.

Maybe not for everybody, but very much a thing.

Wool is an animal-based fiber.

It's most commonly associated with sheep, but wool can also come from other animals, like goats,

lamas, alpacas, camels, and even rabbits.
