psychological horror film, Ma.

This film was directed by Tate Taylor and written by Scotty Lance.

Relishing the idea of having a lead role and playing a completely different character

than she normally does,

Octavia Spencer immediately joined Taylor and his attempt to make a dark film. While they both

succeeded in departing from their usual projects, Ma received mixed to negative reviews. Still,

this film boasts undeniably strong and committed performances from the majority of its cast

with a blend of dark humor and serious themes.

So, what did you guys think of Ma the first time you saw it?

I remember seeing trailers for the movie,

but never like fully watching the trailer or like,

it's not that it didn't look interesting.

I was just always in passing or whatever really paid attention to the movie.

But you guys showed me the trailer before we watched this for the show.

And I was, I, I, I, I, I felt like it gave away the feel of the movie.

Yeah, okay, yeah, the whole movie.

Watching the movie for the show, I had a lot of feelings.

I don't want to say in a negative way, but they weren't good.
