And this is our 2020 year and review.

Notice we didn't say best and worsts because, and I will take, I know that overall

we decided this much earlier in the year, but the number of books that I, Caitlin,

have read this year that I have not previously read is in the

single digits. I have struggled a lot with reading, which I think if you follow me on social

media or your on our Patreon newsletter, would not come as a surprise to you. So we decided fairly

early in the pandemic times that instead of trying to force ourselves to read a particular

number of books in several different categories, we would do more of a general, like,

wow, 2020 was bad, huh? These are the things that helped us through it kind of list.

Yeah. And I did read more books because it is still my job.

So I'm going to separately, I think, make a list of my favorite books of the year and put it on our blog or something.

By the time this episode hits your ears, I'm sure I will have figured out what I'm doing with it and probably just go to worst bestsellers.com and probably you'll find it. I also am very hashtag blessed that I was asked by the Boston Globe to help

put together their best young books for young readers for 2020, which again, presumably by the time

this episode comes up, the Globes thing will have come out. So I will link to that or whatever. If you want to know

what books I liked this year, because I did like some. That was nice. But it felt really

awkward to do an episode where I was like, I like this book. And Kate was like, I liked a video

game. So we're doing all video games video games, no books on this episode.

And it's not all video games, but it's all non-books.
