Hi. Glad to be here. Thanks for the invitation.

You're so welcome. I'm glad you're here. We've gotten to know each other a little bit because I work with your husband, Bobby. But I'd love it if you could just share a little bit about your story, how you came to know the Lord. It was a surprise to hear the gospel, especially from the context of going to church every week of our family life growing up.

Really?

But it was a church that had some good hymns, some Bible readings, but not much clear teaching.

So when I heard out in a young life camp at a really clear reason why I needed to be saved and a solution

of Christ who's offering salvation, it was like click, it falls into place.

And one of my first thoughts was, but why didn't someone tell me that before?

But it was still a really sweet time to feel like the burden of trying to be good enough was lifted.

And that was a big weight lifted, that Christ had taken care of that.

And I was accepted because of his sacrifice.

Absolutely.

And so you were in high school then at the Young Life Camp?

Mm-hmm.

All right.

So you fast forward the clock.

Right.

And you'll have a few kiddos.

Okay.
