Hello, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the Detroit Lions Breakdown podcast.

I'm Joe Kanya with me as always is Eric Schlett from USA Today, Lions Wire.

He also happens to be the number two, most beloved sports columnist blogger in all the metro area, according to our Detroit magazine.

That could go beyond the Metro Detroit area, maybe it's the whole state of Michigan.

And also a three-time father.

So we have to congratulate him on that this week.

But one thing we are quite sad and despondent about is another blown fourth quarter lead and a devastating 2723

lost to the Chicago Bears on Sun. I don't know if it's quite devastating. So, you know,

it's a gut punch to begin the year. Sure. Look, when you're up 19 in the fourth quarter,

I think, oh, thank you. I think that qualifies. I think that qualifies as devastating to be up that many, up three scores. That's just a football game, you know, when you get down to it. Devastating might be too strong of a word. Heartbreaking, that's the word I've, that's what I've read on. Sure. We go heartbreaking. Or, you know, some could say unsurprising, same old, same old.

There's a lot of different emotions, you know, across the, across the fan base with this one.

Yeah.

You know what?

I mean, I don't want to get the cart ahead of the horse here, but I mean, we can start

by talking about the Bears game if we want.

I'm fine with that.

I think there was a lot of good things, but there was a lot of bad things.

And a terrible thing in a post-game press conference.

And then there's a lot of the same.

There was a lot of the same stuff, right?

Like, I mean, I think we'll, we'll spend some time talking about the good here.

And obviously, we know a lot of what the bad was.
