Waiting to fire off this podcast now. I just got home. 30 minutes. I got to kiss my wife and then run

out into the podcasting mine strap on my podcasting helmet. And now we're here.

It's not an easy one. I tell my wife that, unironically a lot, I'm just like the life of a

Potter's wife was never an easy one and she's like, is this all there is?

And it's like, yes, couples therapy to hate it so much?

Yeah yeah it's like being a firefighter in a lot of ways and that you kind of you marry the job

right like you you have right of course you're committing to the podcast more than anything.

This is genuinely one of the most offensive things I've ever said on this podcast is that being a

podcaster is like being a firefighter. That, we're nowhere near as racist as

firefighters. Yeah, well we get but but but I would love to smash a car window and put a house.

Oh yeah, we had.

So last year, right, there was, my neighbor upstairs was out of town or something and her smoke alarm was going off.

And eventually the fire brigade came around and the joy, the gladness of heart that appeared on their faces

when they realized they were going to have an excuse to put the door in was

it was like Christmas morning they loved that. I'm sure I've told this story before in here, but like

Firefighters live for that stuff and honestly, you know, I respect that very deep. Who can blame them?

They love, they love to to do and this is what sets

them apart from the cops is that firefighters only do property damage as

opposed to not exclusively true and this is thing, like I do have an actual take here which is that a lot of the stuff that you hate about cops is true of all emergency services,
