In evangelicalism, the trained theologians, too often, in my opinion, lean towards essentially being apologists.

They're protecting the theological system.

They're addressing the system, and this is how it hangs together.

I'm trying to defend the system and trying to defend it.

It essentially likes saying to someone,

why do you think the Bible is an errand, and their answer is because it has to be?

It's like, that's not an argument.

Today, we're talking about an errand see.

At the end of the day, if we want to ask the questions, what is the Bible, and what do we do with it?

It's a topic we have to talk about.

Yeah, it keeps coming up, and it's not beating a dead horse.

It's a real live issue for people.

I think especially a lot of the people, Jared, who listen to our podcast, not all of them,

but I think a lot are still in that process, maybe beginning that move from the orientation

that biblical anerency gives them, a sense of things making sense to that place,

sort of like, I don't know.

I don't see it that much anymore, and I'm a little afraid for thinking about it,

and moving to that disorientation phase before they move on to a reorientation phase.
