Hey, folks, how we doing? Welcome to another episode of the Cripes cast today. My guest is Cheryl. Then she is the river keeper for the mighty Milwaukee monomony and Knick-knick rivers.

And we're talking all about waterways here today, folks. I know some of you are like, oh, God, we're talking about water, Charlie, Jesus, Louise, again, you're happy. What's your deal?

But, you know, we all drink it. We all need it. We all use it. It's an economic tool for us. It's an environmental thing for others, you know, and if we don't take care of it, a lot crashes. So it's super important.

And I think that we talk a lot about the Milwaukee River in this episode, but it's interesting, in my opinion, because Milwaukee River and Milwaukee in general and its relationship with water is kind of a microcosm for the rest of the country, really, and honestly, the rest of the world.

So if you're interested at all in your waterways and how maybe polluted or clean they are, how people build around them and interact with them. I think you're really going to enjoy this podcast. Cheryl is a great guest and super insightful. And she was actually recommended by another Cripes cast guest, Dan Egan. So super excited for this podcast.

It's been good. It's been. It was super hot here. I've got.

Many apples. Many apples outside of Minneapolis.

South suburbs. It's been good. My parents got a new boat. So that's been really fun being here and like doing that.

New boats, huh? Wow. What kind of boat did they get?

They got an old trade trade going. So they have a deck boat.

So it's kind of like they used to have a fish and ski. And then they got a deck boat. So it just has like, it's kind of like a pontoon where it just has more seating.

And then it's also nice. Like, yeah, it's just a little bit bigger. So it's got some more space for more folks.

But yeah, it's like, it's really nice. It's so funny.

I don't know if this is true for you guys because you have like 12 siblings, but there's 12 you.

But last night, like we had our whole family here. We had like a fourth of July party was like friends and family.
