Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Chad Wright. It's my mission in life to portray to you the lessons

that I have learned through over a decade of service in the U.S. Navy SEAL teams. Throughout these

lessons, you're going to learn the tools that I have used to propel myself

through the furnace of adversity and to achieve success within my mission when times get hard.

Lesson one, talent versus tools. We can all achieve success within our passion if we recognize our

talent and use our tools properly. Talent without the efficient and effective use of tools is ineffective.

We're all made of the same stuff, so why should we trust one another? Why should we believe in

ourselves? After all, at this point in our lives, we might not have accomplished any great

things by society's standards. We might not have built a large business or achieved financial

freedom, sustained a happy marriage or relationship. Yet we're looking at those around us that may have

done one or more of these things thinking, what do they have that I don't? And the true answer is

nothing. These people that have seemingly made it in our eyes don't have anything that we don't possess within ourselves.

There's but one difference. The man or woman, who we might look up to our view as complete or

successful, has figured out how to use the tools, naturally possessed by all of mankind,

efficiently and effectively in order to accomplish their desired goals.

So what are these tools and how do they differ from natural talent?

We're all gifted with different talents but the same tools.

A talent could be playing music, singing, dancing,

writing, artistic ability, business sense, people skills, but we're all gifted with the same

tools. Some of the tools we possess can be listed as time, our physical bodies, our ability to

listen and learn, our will, what we want or do not
