0:25.0	Then they sang a whole song about it and I nearly fell out of my chair laughing.

0:36.0	What is my life going to be?
0:38.0	Four years of college and plenty of knowledge have earned me this useless degree. I can't pay the bills yet because I have no skills yet.
0:46.8	The world is a big scary place, but somehow I can't shake the feeling I might make, a difference to the human race.

1:06.1	All through high school and most of college I'd planned on going into some type of Christian
1:11.3	ministry, preaching, missions, youth ministry, something like that.
1:15.6	I've always wanted to, as the song says, make a difference to the human race.
1:21.6	And I thought getting an English degree in serving God in full-time ministry was the best
1:25.8	route. But being involved in ATO revealed a love for more businessy stuff. I discovered a love for working on teams and leading teams. I discovered
1:36.2	a love for motivating people and chasing big crazy goals. I discovered a love for events and
1:42.0	planning and strategy.
1:44.0	Was my pain fueling a lot of that? Of course.
1:48.0	But I was still having a lot of fun doing it.
1:50.0	I was still using my God-given gifts and learning a lot about myself.
