Yes! World Cup Champs Week is here. I'm Julie Fowdy. This is Lennon Zawi Wawi. Hi, Julie.

Hi, Lynn. Pumped to be back. And we're not only kicking off World Cup Champs Week,

we're kicking it off with two superstars. So we have Alex Morgan and Kelly O'Hara. Roll the crowd noise.

But I feel like first before we get to them, we have to explain our audio situation.

Lynn, we did this recording in Chicago when the team was there for a victory tour game.

We did a couple of other interviews as well. And we did it at the team's hotel,

which was the Ritz Carlton downtown. We had a lovely suite on the 30th floor of this hotel.

I had everything set up as far as the microphones, the recorder,

and I was doing some testing just to make sure that everything sounded okay. And while doing that,

I could hear music coming through my headphones. And so I tried to find the source of it.

I thought maybe it was coming from the hallway. Maybe it was someone's phone in the room.

No music in the room. I ended up googling this. You went to the Google.

And from what I understand, the microphones were actually acting as antennas

and picking up a nearby radio station. So immediately we went into problem solving mode.

We tried a different room in the hotel, same issue. Ultimately, we went back to the suite on the 30th floor.

And there was one place in this suite where we could get really crystal clear audio.

And it just so happened to be the bathroom.

To which I was like, are you kidding me? This is fantastic.

They're not going to give a shit. Get it? They're going to laugh so hard they'll pee their pants.

I think of the jokes that will come out of this.

I think our favorite line is that we had a veritable poo poo platter of World Cup champs.
