Mary Jo Wheeler-Schueller is a trailblazer in the Wisconsin automotive industry. As President of the Wheeler Family Auto Group, she is passionate about making electric vehicles (EV) accessible to everyone in Wisconsin. She outlines the process of building EV chargers into the state's existing infrastructure, as well as the roadblocks she’s faced in trying to do so. Eager to shake things up, she explained how she became GM’s first US dealer to implement EV chargers by saying “nobody remembers who got second in the Super Bowl." She and Charlie talk about EV’s impact on climate change, the common concerns from consumers, and the future of the automotive industry.

| 1:24.1 | I'm not much for listening to. That's like most guys, but yeah, I know. But I kind of sort of |
| 1:31.8 | always feel that way with like environmental issues, like kind of like, let's find a solution |
| 1:39.4 | with like jumping to try and find a solution in my brain, you know, without like fully understanding |
| 1:44.4 | the problem. So I tried to kind of work against that, you know, because just because something |
| 1:49.4 | isn't getting done doesn't necessarily mean, you know, there's a bad guy in that that situation. |
| 1:56.6 | Sometimes there is. Usually they're called lobbyists, but you know, see, there I go again, |
| 2:03.9 | I just can't help myself. Also too, I think after listening to this in review, it sounds like |
| 2:08.8 | there's a lot of pieces to the puzzle that like, there isn't just one simple fix. So that's |
| 2:14.1 | what it seemed like it was like, well, this problem isn't being fixed because of this, this, |
| 2:17.8 | and this. Like, it's not just a simple like pointing a finger to one source. Yeah, there's not |
