Hey everyone, welcome to the Jewelry District.

This is Victoria Gamelski, editor-in-chief of JCP and JCP OnlineC-K Online.com, calling in from Los Angeles. And I'm with... Rob Bates, news director of J-C-K and J-C-Online.com, calling in from New York City. And we're going to hear a lot of New York accents today between me and our guest. I'm excited, too. I feel like I haven't been to New York enough this year.

Yes. And you're going to Switzerland, I believe, correct? I am. So you're going on vacation and

we're like doing a little baton handoff. You come back from vacation and on Monday Labor Day.

So this will be in the past once people are listening to this. But I'm headed to Switzerland just to see the Tag Hoyer factory.

And it happens to be a visit right on the brink of Geneva Watch Days, which is this sort of

decentralized watch show that popped up.

I think they had it in the summer of 2021 or possibly it possibly was found in the summer of 2020. It was kind of a pandemic response

to the fact that we couldn't go to watches and wonders that year. And it's turned into what's

meant to be a very, very cool affair. It's very low key. It's quite casual, but a lot of brands

will present things there. And so I'll just be in Geneva for one night and one day on the tail end of this Tag Hoyer trip. But people say it's their favorite event in Geneva, you know, even more so than watches and wonders because it's so casual. And it's also done at a time, you know, it'll be early September. So it should still be quite warm. And I'm excited because I haven't ever been. It's just, it tends to fall around Labor Day, which is, you know, one of those tough weeks to get away if you're trying to do stuff with the family. But I'm excited and I'm excited for you that you get to go on your annual holiday, although it sounds like you won't be. We're still figuring out what's going to happen. There's been a lot of interesting wrinkles, but it's but it'll be, it'll be fun. And I believe

we're both going to be at Converge. Yes. So Converge, I forget the day this episode will drop,

but it may be while we're at Converge, which is this event that's a joint event by the American

Gem Society and the Gemological Institute of America, GIA, down in Carlsbad,

taking place from September 7th through 10th at the Omni La Costa Resort and Spa.
