| 0:17.6 | I'm joking. I'm joking. Also, come what you guys want us to talk about next week. As you can see throughout this video, we took your suggestions from last week and we're talking about it today, so let's get into the podcast. Okay, do you know why all Spider-Man villains are wearing green? No. Okay, so we look at all Spider-Man villains, right? Green Goblin, green. Yeah. Sandman, green shirt. Scorpion, green. Electro green, right? Oh my gosh. A lot of them are green. Yeah. But there's actually a theory on why they're actually green. |
| 0:40.1 | So it actually goes back to color psychotic. green shirt, scorpion, green, electro, green, right? Oh my gosh. A lot of them are green. |
| 0:37.8 | Yeah. |
| 0:38.8 | But there's actually a theory on why they're actually green. |
| 0:40.3 | So it actually goes back to color psychology, right? So green represents like envy and jealousy, right? So it basically represents Spider-Man villains. Yeah. But there's actually a real reason why they actually use green. What is it? color theory, okay, you look at Spider-Man's colors. His colors are red and blue. Now in color theory, the opposite color of red is actually green. So it shows that the villains are literally the opposite of Spider-Man, right? And then if you look at blue, the opposite color of blue is orange. So that's why some villains are orange, like green goblins, pumpkin bombs are orange. Hobglin is orange, and some other villains are orange. So they use orange and green to literally show that these villains are just the opposite of Spider-Man. I never notice how many villains are green. Yeah. And it's weird how Sandman could be wearing any different, any, any color clothes. Yeah. Right, but he chooses to use the green striped shirt. Yeah. It's green. And what's really |
| 1:28.6 | interesting is when you look at like Ironman, Red, Superman, Red, Blue, right? I think a common |
| 1:35.4 | misconception, I don't know how true it is, but I was looking it up. It seemed like the common |
| 1:40.2 | misconception was that when they're printing comics back then, that red and blue were like the cheaper colors to use. Oh, interesting. And that green was like kind of a more expensive color. And that's why they didn't use green as much. And they used it for the villains. But the heroes were like the prominent ones in the comics. So they used the cheaper colors. Well, that doesn't really make sense because the villains show up just as often. Yeah. |
| 2:00.9 | So there's a green villain in every comic. Right. And then the Hulk was green, but he was also gray. Yeah. At first. So it could kind of add up, but I heard that was like a common misconception of like how colors are used in comics. Also, we did get the trailer for Spider-No-R. Oh, yes, we did. Spider-Noir looks absolutely incredible. |
