0:18.0	So we've gone a week since talking about the defensive side of the 53-man roster.
0:24.7	And now we're moving on.
0:26.3	We have a pile of mailbag questions.
0:28.3	We've got a nice backed-up mailbag.
0:30.5	And we're going to get to that in a few minutes.
0:32.1	But first, the league has been talking about, or not the league has been talking about,
0:37.4	there's going to be a roster expansion this season.
0:40.5	Instead of a 53-man roster, we're going to have a 55-man roster, but there's a lot of caveats that go with it.
0:46.3	So I want you to break it all down for everybody.
0:49.8	Yeah, basically, people are getting hung up on that 55 number, and it's important that they understand the context at which that is applied.
1:01.4	The first thing is that there's going to only be 53 players that are on the everyday roster, and that's the same as it's always been.
1:11.9	You're going to have 53 players that have a 17-week contract. And then each week, every team in the NFL will have the
1:19.8	opportunity to promote two players from the practice squad to the regular, what they call the active roster.
1:29.0	So those 53 guys are on the active roster.
1:32.5	And then every week, two guys from the practice squad can be promoted to the active roster,
