With his Netflix specials “The Tennessee Kid,” “Greatest Average American,” “The Stand-Ups,” and his latest special “Hello World!” on Amazon Prime, Nate knows a thing or two about producing a stand up special. He and Charlie deep dive into all things comedy including joke writing, their comedic role models, open mic stories, and going through their notes app joke ideas. Nate explains that his slow Southern drawl was an advantage when he was first starting out because it kept him from making the common mistake made by young comics of rushing through their jokes.

1:28.8	honesty when we're talking about Nate. I suppose. Yes. No, he's really great and I've seen his stuff
1:34.3	for, I mean, I've seen it for a while now on Netflix. He has a bunch of specials on Netflix,
1:38.8	but his new wins on Amazon Prime. I've always really enjoyed his very dry like matter of fact
1:44.5	delivery. I think his deliveries, I haven't seen that in a lot of people. Yeah, that's how you know
1:48.6	a great Joe Criter though is when they can be like, you know, when they can, and it's not to say
1:54.9	not all great Joe Criter's deliver this way, but the way he delivers is so subtle and so nuanced
2:00.2	that he really lets the words get the punch like not as much the emotion or the like the theatrical
