Okay, I hope you're all doing well. Last week's show about the failed Millennium

Dome robbery was a good break from the usual and I do have another heist coming up.

But tonight we go to Rochester, Monroe County, New York and the terrible crimes of Arthur

Shawcross, the Genesee River Killer. Now just a small trigger warning here this series of events happened 30 odd years ago

and the term a prostitute was used by the media and law enforcement so you will

hear it here from me tonight so please don't

burn me because sometimes the word needs to be used in the context of the time it

shows how these women were seen at the time and why sometimes

their deaths weren't taken as seriously as they should have. Now it's in

Rochester that a series of murders would occur with the bodies being found in most cases

around the Genesee River which flows straight through the middle of Rochester into Lake Ontario.
