Hey, thank you for having me.

Aaron, so glad you're here. We just met today.

So I'd love to hear just a little bit about you.

So I'm originally from California.

My dad was in the Navy, so he moved around a lot.

And before I moved here to Texas, I was living in Kentucky.

I moved down here in 2011.

And I already had Watermark picked out before I moved down here. I was like, this is the church I

wanted to be a part of. I was like, I had a friend from high school, came down to visit. They were

attending here at the time. And that's how I learned about Watermark. And I was like, oh, my gosh,

I totally love this place. So there was no church hopping involved. So I've been here since 2011.

I currently serve in our Gather ministry, which is for single adults in their 30s, 40s, and 50s. I've really, really

enjoyed that. I've been doing that for almost five years. And I've had the blessing of meeting my

wife through Gather. And she is awesome. Yes, she is. She is totally awesome. I am truly blessed.

And today you wrote about 1st Peter 3. Yes. Why that passage? Why did you pick 1st Peter 3?

Originally, this was just a while back, I decided to pick a book of the Bible that, you know, I'm going to pick it apart verse by verse and kind of go through and just,

you know, read some commentaries and stuff like that. So I just chose the book of First Peter.

And so I was going through it. And then I found out that, you know, we were doing the devotions

for Join the Journey and stuff like that. And because I already was doing this, it's like, I was like,
