production of the Merseys Skeptor fucking hot. It is hot. It is hot. It is really hot. I can't get through the intro. It is legitimately hot. I mean I should probably unbutton like at least. My suit jacket. Yeah, you've got your seat jacket on. your sleeves aren't even rolled up.

No. I've seen you in rolled up sleeves and no tie before when it was hot.

If it gets ridiculously hot that might happen. But yeah, it's quite hot.

Mm. So listeners may be aware of a of a noise in the background

that isn't usually there unless I haven't set the laptop up properly that's true

yeah yeah which is the the fan that we've got running in a desperate attempt to keep ourselves cool.

Which we probably haven't used this for a couple of years now.

Being hot has two important side effects.

One, it means it's horribly uncomfortable and nasty and unpleasant to kind of sit here and

record indoors and it's not that bad you making out like the heat is a real hardship it is

I mean it's I was sat in a beer garden about half an hour ago.

So it is quite uncomfortable right now for me.

Yeah, that's true.

The other thing is that fleas have appeared everywhere.

My cats have, apparently, I wasn't aware of this, picked up some fleas at some point in the last couple of weeks,

and the hot weather has just brought them all out.

The fucking hundreds of them.

I think your cats are either illegally subletting.
