Summary

Today's episode features Mike Pereira from the NFL On Fox. We talked about the bad no call in the Super Bowl that resulted in a touchdown for the Bengals when Jalen Ramsey's face mask was clearly grabbed. Mike also discussed working with his colleagues Joe Buck and Troy Aikman. Aikman left Fox to go to ESPN and Mike was in the booth with those guys a lot including the Super Bowl. I asked Mike about being on camera with over 100 million people watching. We had a great laugh on that one! The main topic of conversation though is officiating on the youth level and it was very interesting to hear Mike's reasons for officials quitting after one or two years. Mike started a foundation called Battlefields to Ballfields and he has done a great job giving some of our veterans a second career. Mike gave great insights on what is needed to have sports officials truly want to stick around! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
