Welcome to coming out with Lauren and Nicole.

We're a weekly podcast where we usually have queer folks on from all walks of life who usually tell the tales of how they came out to friends, family, in the world at large because usually who doesn't love a coming out story? Usually. But today, it's just me and Lauren. Um, we do something a little different. Doing something a little different. And, uh, and we enjoy just being us sometimes. Um, and we know that we know that some of you like that too.

So we decided to give the people what they want.

We sure did.

And I'll cop to it.

I really sort of, I'm loath to say pressured.

But I really pushed for this particular episode because, okay, so Pride Month has just started. We have also been in

quarantine slash lockdown for a year. Yeah. People are rare and to gap. Yeah. And I, throughout

quarantine, as I've mentioned, every Monday night, I've been facilitating this fantastic group called

Her Stories, which is just like, basically like a rap group for women, not rap like rap, rap,

rap like talk. You know what I mean. It's a discussion group. It's a social group for female

identified queer folks. And what has consistently come up every single week for over a year is basically just a bombardment of how do I meet queer people?

Where do I go?

How do I date?

Which are the best dating apps?

How do I know if somebody's queer? How come

nobody writes me back? What do I do if I like somebody? How can I tell if somebody? It's just over and over again.

And I say this lovingly. The same discussions, regardless of how folks identify, regardless of things like

age, race.
